Deep inside the heart of all movement is a total stillness, and we are both: form and emptiness. Woven through the fertile fullness of the body is a silent space of awareness carried on the wings of the breath.
This silent presence and stillness is Zero, and it pervades every moment, every footstep, every heartbeat we live through from birth to death.
So it is with our practice: we move freely, allowing life to have its wild and natural expression through the body, whilst staying silently aware of awareness itself. The body and the breath are constantly making love with each other, co-creating experience from moment to moment, and all we need do is say yes with everything we have.
This event marks the launch of ZeroOne, a new movement practice embracing the root of all polarities: that between form and emptiness. Created by a small group of pioneers together with Adam, ZeroOne will be born on the Spring Equinox in Berlin, a wildcard city of creatives and rebels, that was strong and deep enough to embody the polarity between East and West for decades. Poetry.
This Is Rhythm: TaKeTiNa meets ZeroOne, co-led by Tania Bosak
A ground-breaking world-first, blending these two profound techniques to form a deep immersion into embodied trance and meditation.
ZeroOne: a movement practice which weaves together the wild fullness and love of life through the body with the utterly empty freedom of awareness itself, bringing up all that is not fully alive or free in the process and integrating that back into the whole experience of self.
TaKeTiNa: an active rhythm meditation, where the body becomes the instrument, and guided rhythm journeys invite states of timelessness and deep rhythmic flow, creating an exhilarating inner silence as well as a wellspring of musical creativity.
These two practices are deeply complimentary, one based in clear rhythmic form, the other based on improvisation. Together, they forge a powerful catalyst for you to learn how you learn, unpack the ways you block your growth, and open a pathway ahead to wake up more and participate in your life with a renewed level of creativity and inspiration.
Tania and Adam are both leaders in their field, and are delighted to be co-creating something new together.
“The only real valuable thing is intuition.” Albert Einstein
We seek knowing for good reasons; it’s as well to get to know ourselves and our loved ones intimately, to know where we’re going, what we’re doing. Knowledge is a form of power, and immensely useful.
Yet aren’t we often dancing in the dark? Not knowing who we are, where we’re going, or what to do with our lives?
What if we practised moving with the openness and wonder of not knowing? What happens when we’re willing to be with the discomfort of not being in control?
Could the mind’s anxious grasping for knowledge become instead a focussed spiritual presence and passion for creative action?
Could this subtle space become the meeting place of art and meditation, where we surrender to the innate wisdom of the body and breath?
Could this become a practice that serves us in daily life, in the countless moments where we’re not in control, where we don’t know what’s coming?
When we let go of needing to know, we open to a deeper wider state of consciousness. We learn to trust the power of intuition, which is the ability to know without knowing why. Dancing in the dark is an art.
Move, breathe, and pay attention. It’s enough.
A journey into the realm of one to one relationships. Lovers, friends, enemies, colleagues, strangers… so many different modes of relating, yet all of them resting on one thing: our emotional intelligence. Not the clever manipulation of our own or others feelings, but an ability to relate and communicate that is wholehearted, skilful, and honest.
Whether that’s to move away, or defend boundaries, or to open and smile, the capacity to engage with each other meaningfully is an art, tempering the instinctive power of our emotions with the silent presence of Zero. As an art, there is skill as well as passion involved, and this can be practised, expanded, deepened.
That’s our work. Movement practice, deepening our capacity for honest heartfelt communication. Let’s do it.
A moving exploration of the juiciest polarity of all! No matter what gender you identify as, no matter what your sexual orientation, you’ve got these two forces going on inside you all the time, and you’re dealing with them in all your relationships too, whether you’re with friends, at work, or in bed.
We’ll unpack our experiences using movement and dance, with the space to be unreasonable as well as intelligent, emotional as well as embodied, relational as well individual. Strong feelings are welcome, as are all perspectives.
Woven through the whole journey will be a dynamic meditation within the core polarity we are; that between body and spirit. Right there in the constant lovemaking between the body and the breath… in, out, in, out, in out… creating life, moment to moment, from birth to death.
We will use movement and awareness to allow the passion and craziness of life to fully live while staying present with the subtle silence and stillness that always is. This is our practice, our challenge and our blessing. We are life itself, and we are born to move.
Being both a wild dance and a still centre, we have the opportunity to embrace the whole span of ourselves and learn through embodied practice with each other. We can create new pathways to navigate the rollercoaster of daily life in this way, to be able to receive, and to give, to reveal and to listen, to love the world just as breath loves the body.

The inspiration for this workshop arises from our shared belief that it’s vital that we give our loving attention to the dance between men and women. That exploring the complex dynamics between Us is essential to our own personal healing, that of our communities, and that of our planet and all life on it. We have lived for thousands of years with the masculine and feminine being out of balance, which is being expressed in the deeply catastrophic and dysfunctional world we have created and are now living in.
This weekend is time together for Us to recognise some of our own projections and hurts, fears and longings towards one another, and bravely express ourselves in a safe and held space. We will dance together with the intention of taking conscious steps towards healing our wounds, taking responsibility for our part in the divide between Us, and discovering healthier ways of moving with one another.
This is not a workshop about relationships, though couples are welcome. It is an open space for dancers who are willing to take responsibility for their own place and and their own steps, to move through this wild and tender landscape between men and women.
We will be together on the Friday night, the Saturday we dance separately, and we will come back together on the Sunday.
To feel into our depths takes courage, and courage we have, for our true nature is wild, along with every other living thing on this beautiful magical earth.
Maybe we just forgot for a while — pretending that we’re civilised, and then pretending that we’re not pretending…
But the body doesn’t lie, so movement and dance helps us to re-member. We remember to trust the simplicity of footsteps and breath. We find the strength to confront twisted shadows, unearth buried wisdom, and open into the depths of our hearts where we have always been wild and true.
There is nothing more vital than your own state of consciousness. Expand. Deepen. Awake!
“You cannot truly make love if your anger is blocked” Ida Kelarova – School for Human Voice
Loving is fierce! At least sometimes. To truly love we have to be willing and able to be passionate, to allow the animal in us breathing space, to be able to say “Yes!” or “No!” with everything we have – body heart and mind.
The emotional energy necessary for this kind of loving is the creative expression of the energy we usually call anger. It is anger as a vast field of experience: not just the blame and rage that can be so destructive, but the hot-blooded, whole-hearted feeling states that range from a highly disciplined integrity to a wild fire-storm strong enough to protect our children. It’s what gives us the ability to stand for something, defend innocence, to say no to bullshit whether our own or somebody else’s.
Most of us didn’t learn to express with this energy in functional ways, to channel it in service to love and life, staying emotionally healthy with it. Instead we have socially dysfunctional withhold/erupt patterns, with long-term suppressed anger lurking under the surface that bursts out at inappropriate moments, with an intensity and violence that’s way out of proportion to the situation.
Dedicated movement practice helps us regain our power with anger so we’re not victims to it – either our own or other people’s. To give space for our vulnerability and fears. To embody all these feelings thoroughly, without judgement. To unearth the old buried stuff and let it go. To take responsibility for our feelings and use them creatively. To rediscover anger as the magnificent natural expression of life-force that it can be. And ultimately to go through anger so deeply that it becomes a meditation, a profound dive into the mysterious heart of all things that gives us the inner authority to love even when the going gets tough, so that tenderness is sweeter and more real than it’s ever been.
Both science and spirituality reflect the human urge to know – that perennial itch to make sense of who we are and the world in which we live. This search is an essential part of being human.
We probe reality the best we can with our tools of understanding: models, theories, myths, teachings, practices etc. But these tools also define the limits of our knowledge.
What if science and spirituality no longer had to carry the burden of having all the answers? What if, as we probe deeper into reality and who we are, we realize that the knowledge we gather is just a stepping-stone and not the arrival at a final destination?
At the SAND Italy gathering, we will continue to explore where knowledge meets the unknown and the unknowable. We will navigate that space where new discoveries in science and profound realizations in spirituality become possible.
Join our annual Science and Nonduality gathering (SAND) in Italy for six inspiring days with scientists, philosophers, spiritual teachers, and artists, in an openhearted exploration to expand and embody our interconnectedness and further our individual and collective evolution. Our tools are many and diverse: experiential workshops, talks, conversations, meditation, movement, music and more.
At SAND we celebrate a new relationship to spirituality, free from religious dogma, inspired by timeless wisdom traditions, informed by cutting-edge science, and grounded in our own direct experience.
Hosted in the magnificent Castle of Titignano and surrounded by the astounding panorama of the nature of Umbria, SAND Italy promises to inspire and rejuvenate our shared exploration into the nature of reality.
This is it… right here, right now… listening to the silence, we can see in the dark and dance in the empty space.
In dynamic meditation, moving freedom, allowing life to have its wild and natural expression through the body whilst staying silently aware of awareness itself. The fullness of the body and the emptiness of the breath are constantly making love with each other, co-creating experience from moment to moment. In this way, all things arise in their own way and in good timing.
Our movement is endlessly creative, bringing forth the shadows in which we have hidden and the underground worlds where new life begins into the extraordinary light and power that is our birthright.
This workshop is residential, at the beautiful Shambala Gatherings Centre in Sweden.
Passages is a ZeroOne movement journey through your life. An opportunity to let go of some old baggage and become creative with the gifts and wounds you’ve gathered along the way.
So much is beyond our control! Ancestral imprints and DNA, cultural forces, the vast current of life — we are truly a tiny droplet in a mighty waterfall. Yet we have consciousness, and creativity: a moment of choice that shows up within us over and over. We may not be in control of the waterfall, but we do get to choose how we dance within it.
Turn and face the story of your life all the way back to your beginnings. We will retrace our steps steadily back through time, through adolescence and childhood to birth and conception, acknowledging the wounds and gifts we received along the way, respecting the presence of our death that has travelled alongside us as a constant companion. ZeroOne movement practice and enquiry opens the door to surrender to life and reclaim forgotten parts of ourselves. Strengthened by that which has remained whole and healthy since the beginning, we move forwards once again to dive into creativity and vision for a future that genuinely has something to offer the world.

Transforming fear, guilt, and shame
What steps can you take, to move beyond fear, guilt, and shame? These feelings can be cripplingly painful, and many of us go to great lengths to avoid having to feel them, yet somehow constantly troubled by them in the back room of ourselves.
This workshop gives you practical tools for finding your way through the tangled web of judgements that fuel these feelings, to release the creativity and energy that gets trapped inside them.
Movement, insight and presence as a meditation: the way out is in, and through. Love is real.
Sex, money, power, and work
A ZeroOne movement based enquiry into the four fundamental forces of adulthood. Enter into your relationship with sex, money, and power as the three egoic gateways to addiction and corruption, that we must grapple with if we are to establish healthy, pleasurable and creative ways of moving in the world. What else is possible?
Shine a light into your darker corners, face your dragons, and be the adult who can move through every moment as a skilful dancer, able to turn every experience into an opportunity for creative action. In this way we practice letting our desires for life become an integrated creative offering that is the foundation for meaningful work in the world.
For this is the way through the consuming drives we naturally have: to turn everything into creative action that is oriented towards connection and service, to light up your sphere of influence with integrity and a joy of life.
The human race is in desperate need of profound transformation. Let’s get moving, speak the truth, and strengthen our ability to be part of the solution.
